  • Service I-cards with photographs issued to employees by central or state governments or PSUs

For Indians living abroad

The original passport “and no other identity document” will be used at the polls to identify overseas Indian voters who are registered in the electoral roll using the information in their Indian passport.

2024 Lok Sabha Elections: Initial Stage

It should be mentioned that the first round of the general elections in 2024 would involve voters from 102 Lok Sabha seats spread across 21 states and Union Territories. All 39 seats are located in Tamil Nadu; the remaining seats are located in Rajasthan (12), Uttar Pradesh (8), Madhya Pradesh (6), Uttarakhand (5), Maharashtra (5), Assam (5), Bihar (4), West Bengal (3), Arunachal Pradesh (2), Meghalaya (2), Manipur (2), and Andaman and Nicobar Islands (1), Lakshadweep, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Jammu and Kashmir.
